1. Are My Journal Entries Safe?

YES. Your journal entries are completely private and secure.

• Local Storage Only: All your journal entries are stored exclusively on your device using secure encryption (Expo SecureStore)
• Never Uploaded: Your raw journal entries are never sent to our servers or stored in the cloud
• No Access: We cannot read, access, or view your journal entries - ever
• Your Control: Only you can access your entries through your device's authentication (Face ID/PIN)
• No Tracking: We don't track what you write, when you write, or how often you journal

2. What About My Exchanges with Iceberg AI?

Your conversations with Iceberg AI are processed securely and not stored by us.

• Temporary Processing: When you request AI insights, your journal content is sent to OpenAI's API for processing only
• Not Stored by OpenAI: According to OpenAI's data usage policy for API customers, your data is not used to train their models and is not retained
• Secure Transmission: All data is transmitted using encrypted connections (HTTPS)
• No Permanent Records: We don't store copies of your AI conversations on our servers
• Single Purpose: Data is only used to generate your personalized insights

Children's Privacy

Seen App is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us immediately.

International Users
